Hello every one,
YES I had to go where loads of modelers have been before but a little bigger than most I think, here is my own attempt at recreating that great space craft of the best TV series Star Trek. She took over 4 weeks to complete and has no kit parts only two paint your self Christmas decoration balls for the ends of the engines the model is just short of 5 feet long and very heavy, I gave her a base coat of grey primer so that who ever wants to buy her could add there own touches to it. The model is now flying high at TRANSPORT MODELS OF PRESTON LANCASHIRE and may be travelling to a universe near you soon. Please let me know what you think and be honest as this will help me to make better models in future.

regards Barrie ( the old guy )

Just Wow! :cool::thumb2:
What he said!

Honestly This is a very good take on the original NCC-1701 U.S.S. Enterprise and I'm just so impressed with how you've managed to build both the disc and the rest of it since it's got long sweeping curves that you've managed to replicate with styrene and a whole lot of concentration... ;)
Respect!

Well thank you Bob and Jens for your comments, getting the shape right took some time a lot of bending with my fingers and some use of a small crafting heat gun, but that was used only to make sure tha plastic card stayed in the curve which my hands had worked into it.

I am glad you like it, regards Barrie ( the old guy ) here are a few more build pics.
