Wow! This is stunning. As folks have already said, the underside weathering is flawless - amazing attention to detail - loving the undercarriage bays and doors! Tough act to follow.

Oh that's OK I thought I'd missed the build, looking forward to the F4U-1a with full build thread. Once again great result.

Another stunning build from you Barry. The Corsair is an icon of the Pacific Theatre. I've read that the reason the dark blue colour became so matt, lightened and weathered, was because of a shortage of drinking water, ground crews cleaned the airframes with gasoline. Also coral dust and the heat obviously played a part.

Great build, I could look at this all day.

I would give a million stars but I would be here all day so a five star build will have to suffice s A1 class build.
