Hi everyone here's my offering of Airfixs 1/24 Mustang. Not the most pleasurable build to date but it's "done." I won't be getting the same kit anytime soon. Unfortunately I have a number 1/24 Airfix kits in my stash so I fear some exasperating times ahead. But it's been a great character building exercise and I've managed to resist throwing it against the wall on many occasion. I had to stick it on the back burner and attack it when I felt upto it. No more cold sweats at bedtime. On to the next one. More later................

Thanks for looking in and any comments left.
Cheers John

You have done a great job with that old kit. Nice to see another Red Tail.
Might I suggest getting shot of those 1/24 Airfix via Ebay and getting some Trumpeter ones if you want 1/24 or, better still, have a bash at the Tamiya 1/32s for a real treat...

You've made the best of an awful kit there. Very nice paint job. The wings look like they suffer the same droop problem as the Airfix 1/24 Spitfire.

John, putting the short comings of the actual kit to one side, the paintwork is excellent.

Great result all round!
