Finished matilda

just finished my first tank.
Tamiyas matilda.

As I am still new to modelling, I decided to throw the paint schemes out the window.

Went very basic, one colour scheme, as my painting is basically crap ATM. But got good even coverage without loosing detail, and no brush marks!

Didn't use the figures, some decals used, in hindsight, think I over weathered, but am happy with it, learned a lot, and obviously could make it tons better if I were to do it again.

Onto a revel spitfire!

I think you have done a cracking job, I would be chuffed if I had made that. I think you are being too hard on yourself, good paint job weathering looks okay-one tip use a pencil to highlight around hatches and wear areas, not much but it gives a nice worn metallic patina.

Nice result Edd. Excellent bit of brush painting - No brush marks!? Some folks will never believe you. But I sure do!

Top work.

Cracking job! As every one says, if this is your first tank, you should be chuffed and then some!
