Bit more progress, guess I'm done killing :/  Added viscera and blackened all with a mix of slightly diluted black and patio brick, makes a nice dark base for later tweaking of colors.

I think it is good that you depict war for what is was/is. Brutal.

Good work on the figures. Like the tissue trick. Going to try that one one day.

Thanks Ian, glad you don't disapprove of subject matter and "brutal" style I portray...It means a lot...........Jim :smiling3:

Thanks Monica and everyone, I think this is it for the in progress thread, don't want to beat it to death ^_^  The next time it comes up it will be in the completed forum. Much tweaking and added do-das to be done and with busy real life schedule it may be a bit, but not too long I promise. .....Jim :smiling3:

I appreciate your showing of techniques Jim. The portrayal of the victims of war is no easy undertaking Thank You and I look forward to the final viewing

Thanks Monica, will get this one done real soon if possible. I seem to have lost the soil I had sifted for dio :S  will have to get a new batch. German officer needs work but I'll get him done soon enough. My military surplus "loggers" (next batch of projects) seem to be quite a bite to chew once one gets into the nuts and bolt of things, but I always welcome a challenge. So much scratch building and they must be convincing of course. After the half track will be a converted Sherman tank for heavier dragging, plus other support vehicles.

Should be fun and will probably take a good chunk of my time left on this spinning rock ^_^ .............Jim :smiling3:
