Hello to fellow modelers,

I just completed Halcyon's Apc from the movie ''Aliens This time is war'' from the 80's.

The kit was manufactured at late 80s and is long OOP but it's pretty easy to find one in ebay (for a steep price).

Scale is 1/35.

I hope you enjoy.

Great job on what I recall from the 80's was a fairly minimalist kit in terms of detail.

'Grrrrrrrrrr, absolute bad ass!' Nice work, looks the part for when Ripley buggers it up :D Only crit is the rear lights should be white IIRC.

I too love these Halcyon kits but the price is just stupid.

About the price, it is a matter of luck really, you might get it for as low as 50$, but it's still questionable if it's worth it.

I built it purely for nostalgia reasons but even then it was hard to motivate my self to finish it.

it is a poor kit with zero fun factor and many many issues.

This moment, it has more glue, putty, and extra metal for support inside than it's original plastic parts.

Anyway I am happy with the result and thank you for taking the time to comment. If anyone acquires such a kit I' be happy to provide some tips for easier building.

Great job ......Superb finish. I'd really like to build one but like Paul says, a bit pricey for me.
