Been a long time since there has been any activity in the suggestions box....
You can still report for duty on an existing suggestion, or come with more suggestions.
Remember this section is not bound by calendar year it just rolls along into the sunset.

I caught a glimt of a comment about a Tornado (I think it was, might have been a spook)build in the latest acquisitions I think...

Any new members that are wondering what this is all about, feel free to ask.

I'm keen, if we can make it another six month (or longer) period. I have a few Tornadoes just itching to escape their boxes. And also some left over Hawks too Rick, as an aside.

Last year we started to have group builds from suggestions for the members. The short version:
A member posts a suggestion in the suggestions thread, that can be found here: http://www.scale-models.co.uk/forums/member-suggested-group-builds.295/
If the suggestion get 10 people that will commit to the build then the person suggesting the build should contact either Polux or me so a forum can be opened.
there are "guidelines" on the matter here, http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/guidelines-for-suggestions-please-read.26967/
If you have an idea for a suggestion have a quick look to see if it has not been made before.
lets build an aircraft is not a good suggestion. Lets build an aircraft from 111sqdn is a better idea. Lets build a Tornado from 111 squadron is an even better idea....
The more concise the suggestion the better it is and the more chance of getting enough interest...
If a suggestion is still on the page you can look in and add your name to the list.
One final thing, the person that suggests the build should keep an eye on their suggestion and also promote it within the thread.

I feel I am being led towards something involving a 111 Sqn kite of the variable geometry wing type.

I have a load of leftover 1/48 decals for Hawks that I don't want to see lieing idle, the Air Defence grey or wraparound Grey/Green of 151 Sqn have always appealed. But my problem is time and I'd have to buy another 1/48 Hawk so I'm not sure on another Hawk GB....until someone asks the question.
