Hello. This is an Academy 1/35 model completed with Tiger II zimmerit.

The title is preparing you allready to see a dramatic battle scene of the fanatic German army.

The theme of my diorama is the Tiger II, with a sniper platoon , being take by surprise on theyr way to designated position, by an antitanc gun crew. The tank was hit in the turret but no penetration, just a set of spare trackssmashed away. Now is the German's turn to show theyr skills.1162015173155.jpg

Thank you for your words. It was my san's project he just finished the tank and he asked me for the painting and the base. So we had this weekend a real marathon. We couldn't stop working. This Tiger had just blow up our minds. I will come back these day with better pictures, day light. But ,now, the tank is having his own lights.1162015182151.jpg

I have to say that's a great dio, I'm feeling cold just looking at it... brrr!

At the risk of being called a rivethead (!) , there's very little evidence to show German vehicles being whitewashed during the Ardennes campaign.

Snow didn't begin falling until Dec 23/24, a week after the battle began.

Also Tiger IIs with zimmerit would also have been unlikely as most German tanks fighting there would have been built after September, when the addition of zimmerit had ceased.

Is that ok to say? I can always edit this post if required ;)
