Nice.
How did you get the black/red shading? Very effective.

Was this using lead wire?
Lovely job :thumb2:

Cheers John. The red was just a very thinned red over black primer. Yeah lead wire, but so frail it was a bit if a pain threading it through.
Well done. Great details.
Thanks Paul
Great start, and great work on the engine.
Cheers Ian
That's a great start. Really neatly painted.
Thanks Jim. A lot of back and forth with the airbrush but I'm happy so far.

Beautiful.........love the Electronics Bay! :thumb2:
Thanks Rick

Opposite side electronics bay has been done:

Rest of the steps were fairly dull, so skipped them for you...and gone straight to the primer stage:

This really is a fantastic kit with amazing engineering. A few details can be added, wiring, seatbelts etc, but great detail already. There was a fairly significant part missing (the main part for the Longbow radar) but I've emailed John so hopefully he can help.

Very nice. I stood next to one once - surprised at actually how large a helicopter it was having only seen them from a distance prior.
Enjoying watching this one!
