just finished one of these. Its a nice kit but dry fitting the sides roof and doors is a must to get them fitting properly

Ah, the bench seat. I remember when my wife and I bought our Samba V.W. way back in '71 and we would go for a drive and find somewhere nice and quiet. No need to 'climb in the back'. I remember once when we were on the front seats having a right good................

After putting the Silver over the black while still wet I put cling film on and gave it a scrunch to leave this pattern.

Nice trick. I'll try to remember that.


I must admit, watching this come together has given me an itch to do another one. Might even go for the 1/16 scale one. I have a plan....


Also I like the used but not abused interior... Can't have been Ron's van!
