Nice work Ian. That wing root should be easy to fix. Looks good so far.

Got the wings fitted and the wing root seems ok also this is going to be a Mk6 and the rear wings should be straight not turned upwards. I've got that sorted I just sanded the middle a little thinner then bent them straight, also painted the engines.

Ok time to turn to the undercarrage and wheels.

image.jpeg

I had 2 wheels from the Sunderland I did a while ago, so I cut then filed the tyre part off

And I'm going to drill the centre out of these to just leave the tyre. But that will be at work in the morning.

And finally I've started to make the base, the wing tips will be cut off at the edge of the styrene I've fitted. image.jpeg

But as usual still plenty to do.

Well I've got this one ready for the canopy to go on, and get some paint on it.

This is the kit I've got, but I'm building it as a Mk V which as a small bubble canopy behind the main canopy to house the antenna. So since starting this kit I've been on the lookout for one or something like it. I even asked Jambo if he had a spare after building his great version of on. Just think of my suprise when I went to cut the canopy off to mask, and low and behold one was sat there on the sprue, then I took a better look at the other sprues and the antenna are on it also. It just goes to show you should look at the sprues properly when you start a kit
