Looks like i'll be in on this build, just need to keep my hands off the Mk1 Escort until then.

Have fun, John

Just thought, i have a Mk2 as well. Two Land Rover's, a Ford Transit and a Sea Harrier FRS.1

Oh my, this isn't going to end well...................

Don't think you can get more British than a Mk1 Escort, it's up there with the Austin Mini (no BMW crap :eek:smiling3: Lotus, Triumph and Rover. But if thats the rules i will go by the rules.

Don't forget though, Rolls-Royce is owned by BMW, Lotus is Proton Holdings and thats in Malaysia, Bentley Motors Limited is Volkswagen AG. And as for Leyland Trucks thats in the U.S. thanks to Paccar.

Rules are rules.

The more i look at my post the more it looks like i'm having a go, but i'm not Peter. Just gobsmacked how much of a sell out we are. No worries, i'm still in matey. So, manufacturers not model. Land Rover or Sea Harrier then..

Have fun, John

Got in one but it also applies to ships ie: the QE2 was British built for a British company etc etc

I really like the idea, Peter.

Could be a nice “permanent” GB for three years, almost.....
The first: Cars
Second: Aircraft
Third: Motorcycles

;)

Don't forget ships as there have been some magnificent ocean liners and warships built in Britain

johns right the mk1 escort is actually more British than the mini it was designed by a Brit and built by Brits the mini was designed by a turk.
Peter sorry if it sounds like I'm having a go at you as I'm not but realistically if you impose this rule you won't be able to build the best of British as most of the things we class as the best are nearly all collaborations with other countries.
