I should have researched more carefully. The instructions seem to suggest that both parts of the U/C doors are attached to the U/C leg, but only the curved part is - the mostly rectangular bit is angled outwards, and overlaps the curvy bit.

Second coat of Galeria drying at the moment. I'll take a couple more photos later before it goes in the bin.

Oh well, this isn't going to get any better so I'm calling it finished.

Not an enjoyable kit to build, but I could/should have built it a lot better.
