Thanks Ian. You won't be surprised to hear that the winch is, umm, 'interesting'. Some of the parts bear little resemblance to the illustrations, and don't fit together well, but on the other hand, look at this cute little hook!

Isn't that lovely? Shame they didn't mould more of the parts that well.

Not sure if this should be in the GB thread or under "Completed Aircraft".
Well, I think I've stuck all the parts I'm going to stick, and painted all I'm going to paint, so here it is beaten into submission:P1020645.JPGP1020646.JPGP1020647.JPGP1020648.JPGP1020649.JPGP1020650.JPGP1020651.JPGP1020652.JPGP1020653.JPGP1020654.JPGP1020655.JPGP1020656.JPG

Not too bad I think, after all the problems.

Pete, that is spot on. One very nice build.

An excellent addition to the other finished helicopters for Ian's G.B.

Well done....

Ron.

That is the cutest little hook. The cable cutters are a nice touch also. Very good work. PaulE

Many thanks to all who've commented. Didn't come out too bad did it?
If I had another one I could build it better... but that way lies madness!
The searchlight is missing, but I have a cunning plan - probably never to see the light of day, but it seems silly to have a rescue chopper without one...

Now, what to build next? Perhaps another heli?

Beautiful finish Peter. It looks great, would have been rather busy with the phone number all over the windows, so great decision to omit them.
