Sorry Peter. Too quick for me my friend. Awesome work as always. How are you getting on with acrylic brush work in this heat at the moment??

Hi Steve. Glad you approve. I think I'm actually getting used to the hot weather and have stopped being aware of how it affects the paint. It does dry quickly, but I quite like that.

Anyway, he's done:

The accessories took longer than I'd thought, forgetting that they are that much bigger than 120mm. Everything fitted together perfectly - I had been slightly apprehensive about fitting the gun and straps, but nothing could have been easier. The only extra was a bit of string for the compass.

Thanks again to Peter G for giving me the opportunity to work on this superb bust. I'm now off to look at the rest of the range.

Morning Peter

Super finish, all round, great work on the accessories, its the little details that make the bigger pieces pop.

Buttons, clasps, rivets, buckles etc

He does look very focused.

Whats next on the bench?

Have a good day, it feels a little fresher up North

Regards

Steve H

Many thanks Mick and Richard.

I've since moved the compass cord up above the binoculars, but otherwise he's cabinet bound.

Morning Steve.

Very pleased that you like the end result.

I really feel like doing another bust, but those that I've ordered are still on their way. Will probably go back to the 1/16 Ardennes figures in the meantime. Still very hot here.....

Hi Peter
Absolutely superb. I am sure that RP Models would be thrilled to receive an email showing what an incredible job a master painter can make of a master sculpt.

Stunning work my friend.
Thanks to to Peter G for the explanation, seems a sorry state of affairs that the artist will no longer required, just some computer geek .Of course advertising went like this years ago , and the commercial artist was no longer required.
John.
