I purchased I partly built model kit and looking at the paint job I want to remove the attempt thats been made, is it safe to use Oven cleaner from resin parts, or Modelstrip, I know oven cleaner is safe on the platics but unsure of resin.

Thanks

Adrian

I would strongly suggest you try it on a bit of the casting block, the bit you cut off and chuck out.

I know that Carsons paint remover is said to be OK on resin but never tried it.

What type of paint is is, do you know?

Excellent ty, I think I have bitten off more than I can chew with this part made kit, its just a collection of badly painted bits mixed up in a box !
