Revell 1/32 Arado 193-A

Here is the finished plane. It was the Revell Arado 193-B, but as I wanted the A variant, I converted it using HPH replacement floats, Eduard interior PE, replacement rudders and propeller.

What a great model. Having the cockpit open, the wings folded back and the engine on view makes all the extra detailing clear.

It was originally going on the catapult, but it doesn't fit with the wings folded, which is really annoying

This is because Revell no longer make the A version in 1/32, and I couldn't find it anywhere, so I bought the B version and converted it.

I knew there'd be a good reason! I just had a quick look and found a few of the A version on ebay, but some of them are going for really stupid prices!
