Once again I have been going through my builds and finishing some off.
This one has been on the go to a while (since January) and as ever I lost the small decels but I had no problems with the build in fact another enjoyable one and the under side was done in humbrols chrome rattle can .P1030406.JPG P1030407.JPG P1030408.JPG P1030409.JPG P1030411.JPG

There was a video (on VHS) that I saw all about the Hawker Hunter. It was a very very interesting watch indeed. The Hunter was designed to be an air to air fighter but wasn't all that good at it. It became instead an air to surface attack platform at which it was very good indeed. It also had very strong undercarriage and was capable of taking off from a ploughed field, the engine was also started using a blank shotgun cartridge meaning the aircraft could be based almost anywhere. (If memory serves, it was many many years ago that I watched that video)
