morning you good people I hope your all doing well

After finding out that this was actually a real tank and not a mistake by the model company I did a bit of research and changed the look I had first thought about doing

I’ve painted it with a more scruffy looking and to show off the hybrid type a bit more , I painted the inside of the hatches on the turret in a light grey to represent the inside of the vehicle but I left the hatch painted in the hull colour as some commanders painted them that way to limit noticeability

Whilst doing some weathering noticed one of the track links had fallen off so I left it that way to give the look of being fallen or blown off in battle , I also left off one of the U hooks at the back for the same reason

So here it is the Gruppe Fehermann hybid Tiger I 46352A45-6547-4F63-9052-B75FBA4B2640.jpegBC10D713-E8B6-4C98-82A5-D2AA84CEA2B2.jpeg1778ECC1-D706-40D3-B31C-385CFA04D69F.jpeg5C1DC4CB-566D-47D9-8586-1A45ADCB92A2.jpeg8AE2C499-8B54-4BC1-AADE-59155270DD8F.jpeg360A21ED-ACB7-47B4-81E3-D2FC978F5E6B.jpegF78E361A-ABBC-43EC-ACD8-47F4A0C53861.jpeg61E130E2-078A-40B5-828A-9EA8B8529F16.jpeg

Great work there!!!

I agree that this Tiger looks a bit odd if you don't know the history behind it, and how it was a bodge from various broken Tigers to make something that worked.
This late in the war the German war machine was strained and there wasn't any new tanks to grab when the previous one was shot to pieces, but they did what they could to continue and this is one such tank if I'm not mistaken?

Anyhow, you've done a great job with this Fehrmann Tiger! :smiling3:
