Hello Mates! Here is my rendition of the Me 410 Revell-Monogram 1/48 kit. I got half way through and after 10 years on the shelf I thought I would finally finish it and give it away as a gift. Though the kit is perhaps the best out there, it has the well-documented problems of the deformed starboard fuselage, excessive control surface and hinge details and oval air scoops. To get the tail straight, it was necessary to chop off the rear fuselage and re-glue! Even with pre-cut masks, the multi-piece canopy was a nightmare to paint and fit in place. I used Aries detail sets for the cockpit and wheel wells and thin wires to simulate the trim tap control cables and other bits. The paint scheme is quite plain as per photos of the actual aircraft. If I had to do it over, I would put in a little more shading contrast and panel line definition.

Well it's quite an old kit, but you still made a nice job out of it.

Missed this one, a really nice clean build here and one I would like to do myself. Looks a beast with that 50mm bordkanone sticking out the front, great work.

Good work on this. I always thought it was a great looking aircraft....and your build shows it off nicely.
