Ian, fear not old lad, I've only stopped the build whilst I get together all the 'junk' and accessories from my bits box these tanks used to carry over and above the 'norm.

I'll wind this up now. Thanks to those who posted during the build.
Here's the tank with bits from my spares box, plus a bit of scratch building ( The ladder and ropes etc.) All the stuff was actually on one Panther tank or another - even American Jerry Cans.

Some people might now consider it no longer is OOB. That's life, it's their choice..... As nothing on it is after market, I would like to think it still is.

Brush painted using Children's acrylics and Vallejo Model Air Acrylics.

A most enjoyable tenner's worth of kit.

Beautifully done as usual Ron!

When you added the camo colours, how did you stop the paint 'wicking' along the grooves in the zimm?

Superb result old boy ! The home made additions look excellent and shows that just because somethings considered old and outdated that doesnt mean a great result cant be achieved - and the kits an old one too!:smiling5::smiling5: Top marks mate and an extra credit for the bucket!

kind regards Idi Amin

Cheers boys, I'm glad you approve of the final result. I must confess to getting a load of personal fun and satisfaction from trying to get the best from this 'Toy Kit'

Dave, it did wick a bit, but then I figured the paint would probably have run a bit on the real thing. Who knows?

Mr. Amin - I might be old and outdated, but luckily, I have all my fully functioning and original parts - Except two, which I can't discuss in public!

Yours,
Ivor Toovanekutt.
