When i saw this figure on D-day's Facebook page, i just had to get one, quick email to Pawel at D-Day Miniatures and it was on its way, it seems to have got stuck in all the Christmas post. But it has arrived and well worth the wait, it looks deceptively simple to paint, hopefully start on him this week, if my Tennis/Golf elbow gives me a break!

not sure if to do him in the British helmet or German one, have a German cold winter soldier so may construct a little vignette

When i painted his beard , Krampus did come to mind, funny how a darker beard gives him a different look :smiling:

Painted santa's beard and got the first coat on his, ermm, coat. The colour is a lot flatter in real life.

2nd coat added, a lighter version, using Vallejo Scarlet, not pushed to much into the shadows as to add a bit of depth, next will be the White fur (now i have realised it shouldnt be red :flushed::confused:)
