Hi Jim my sorry last post was a bit abrupt was on my way out :anguished:
The wheels look a treat, did you use heat to bend panels ?.
Thanks Barry, yes, just a cigarette lighter, hacksaw blade, needle nose pliars....and a couple of scorched finger tips.

Coming along very nicely Jim, some cracking work.
Looking good jim.
Thanks guys, will start working out base, will keep it simple but with enough debris and such to lend some realism.
Rural German setting, last torturous weeks of the war in Europe.
Last ditch futile rear guard actions, more pathetic than effective.

UPDATE:

Fiddling with base, a bit of a contrasting scenario of peaceful small village and savage violence. Still a very long way to go with some more veg about and anything else appropriate that may come to mind.
Scene is "post combat" by some weeks or so.

Only clean up and still a bit of stubborn mopping up of fanatical diehards left for this particular area.

Hi Jim
I'm another Jim, just joined. I like what you are doing. Not easy to replicate serious damage but I reckon yours is very convincing. look forward to seeing the rest of this.

Thanks John, great to see new members joining up, especially "tankers"
Have done a number of "wrecks" on site. Search about for them and give your opinions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Si, its always fun to do a wreck, but we must always remember the human cost behind our 3D art, I try to convey that aspect in many of my dios,
to the exasperation of some me thinks:rolling:
Great to have you aboard.....Jim

I am a big fan of the Stug and your build is first class. You must have had a lot of fun beating the kit up that way:smiling3:
