I have seen a lot of dio's with snow effect but i cant see what has been used to achived this effect.

i am doing a dio of eastern front in 1/16 so any help would be cool, i have put some pic's of my efforts, the base of the wall is silicone and the white is baking flour and i have sprayed satin lacquer over the top to stop it blowing away.

This wall is just a practise run for the dio base, not bad for my first effort (if i do say so myself) lol. do you think this will work or will i have a prob later.

All thoughts are welcome.

John

Loks good John. Baking flour will go yellow over time though.Bicarb Soda is a better option or even polly filler (wall plaster) will stay white.

I once tried mixing up polyfilla and then sprinkling the dry powder over the top as it dried. This gave a better surface texture then leaving the filler as a paste.
