Here is my latest work

A cheap kit but nice plastic , lack of interiors and landing gears details but a nice base to start and add some little details:

Pilots came from old Atlantic Italian Air Force

Mechanics hasegawa

Cockpit scratch built

Begemont decals

Painted with testors alluminium and steel

Weathering with water colors

Base is printed and glued on a random wooden base

Hope u enjoy it

Nice , I like the old Cold War Russian jets they seemed a bit more interesting than their US counterparts

Nice job on the figures as well :smiling3:

Nice job fishpot , the old PM kits come up well with a bit of extra help dont they . Loving the base too , excellent depiction of the hexagonal sections seen on many cold war soviet runways , cheers tony

Nice build. Do you mind me asking how to make the base (i mean the 6 sided shape thingy). I recently made one but square. Thanks ;)

Hi. Thank you!

I do use a JPEG file I have from a pic, then just resize it to the dimension of the base, print it and glue it on, after that you can play with weathering and dirt...

I seal everything with a Coat of future wax

Ps if u need it I can send u the JPEG file
