It looks RHD, and doesn’t look Landy, so I’ll change to a Snorkel fitted Austin Champ, probably testing at Portsmouth ?

Correct!

I figured this one was doable by just the photo: once you realised it’s an underwater jeep-like vehicle with a snorkel, working out that it’s a Champ is possibly by the shape of that snorkel.

Thanks Jakko....still think the driver looks more than a little concerned about the snorkel......

Yes it's Nana Sahib. Led the attack and slaughter at Cawnpore though there's some debate about his intentions.Supposedly died of illness in 1859 but sightings were reported for years after that.
