Thanks chaps.
Steve - I'm struggling to cut down on the pictures. I'm down to 40, far too many! I'll get there eventually. I'll just have to be ruthless .....

Don't say things like that Steve! One of Ron's village dios ended up with a German destroyer in the middle of the stream!

Hi Ron
Bring on the photos. This is a stunning piece of modelling, even more so because of the simple materials used and the enthusiasm you put into your work and blog.

Chaps, that's really nice you would want to see so many pictures, some might not agree so on your heads be it.....:face-with-head-bandage:

I'll do another cull and get summat sorted soon. Thanks.

Rick - Thanks for your favourable comments re. the too many pictures.

It's Tamiya's 1/700 waterline series Z Class Destroyer. You get two very nice kits in the box. The model measures about 7" long.

It first appeared as a bit of nonsense in our 'Captions and Quiz's' forum a while back.

Cheers.

I've had another thinning down, so I'll post the finished model pictures over in 'Dioramas Completed' with a fresh thread title soon.

Thanks for all the great posts both serious and humorous along the way. It's been good fun presenting the build and I hope you enjoyed it's coming together.

Here's one to round things off a bit.

Cheers everyone and thanks again.

Danny, sorry for the very late reply. No excuses, I completely missed your post!

Thanks for the compliment. If you want to take a look, the finished build is over in 'Completed Dioramas'

Cheers.
