I've seen these going for very reasonable money on eBay Tommy & kicked myself a few times for not getting one.
So I'll enjoy watching your build.

Managed to get a start on this, but the first job was to repair the front of the turret, it had broken in two, no idea how this had happened.
But thank goodness super glue:smiling3: after gluing these two pieces to the main turret, I allowed plenty of drying time just to make sure that they had set and were solid enough to be able to continue.
I then filled the break seams with Vallejo plastic putty, and sanded until smooth, I also filled in one or two other areas with it, I really like this plastic putty, it's really easy to use with no fuss or hassle.
Anyway as you can see, the turret was started first, there are a lot of parts to this massive turret, it's almost a kit on it's own:rolleyes:
This is where it's at the moment, hope you like it so far:smiling3:

Good save on the turret Tommy, it's weird how that happened.

It does look a big 'un, the turret is probably the size of a Panzer II ;)

Thanks Monica, the turret is huge and with so many parts, it's still got over 30 pieces to go on it before it's finished, and there is 70+ pieces on it now

Thanks Patrick, the super glue and plastic putty saved the day, the only thing that I can think off as to how it broke, is either it broke whilst stacked in the stash, or when it was originally posted to me when I bought it many years ago:eek:
