As you guys know I have been busy with this 1/32 MiG 17 that I will be doing in the colours of the Mozambique AF defector Lt. Adreano Bomba.

The fit of the parts in my kit is not very goog and the wingroot and stab to fin fot needed alot of fidling. I filled the gaps with glue and stretched sprue in the hope that it will sand better than putty.

The front canopy is also incorrect and needed modification.Loads of lead needed to keep the nose down.

I needed to add some ribs and hydrollic lines in the UC bay as it was a bit bare, the same will be done to the speedbrake bay.

AAH! memories ! it brings it all back theuns , the dodgy canopy , incorrect details . Actually i enjoyed bashing mine into shape , and it does look impressive when done .As you said ,it does need quite a bit of lead in the nose!! Looking forward to seeing this one progress , cheers tony
