Got a bit more done tonight. The hull is pretty much complete, cleaning the wheels took an age.

Hopefully get the mudguards and tracks done tomorrow. The kit actually comes with length & link and rubber band types, but I think I'm going to use the former.

Got quite a lot done today. Hull is practically finished, and the tracks are together. They took at absolute age to clean up.

I also made a start on the turret. I've put the kit barrel on for now but I've got a metal one on order from RB.

The tracks were a royal pain in the arse. Loads of ejector pin parks and flash. I cleaned them up as best as I could and will hide the rest with weathering. :smiling3:

The tracks certainly look nice now. Do you have a pic of an unprocessed link?

After they were cleaned up I assembled the length and links flat on my board, excluding the bottom length. I applied a run of glue to either side of the teeth and left them for 5 minutes or so. Then I placed them on to the rollers and gently formed them around the sprocket and wheels to the right shape. I then dry fitted the bottom length and placed the tank on the table pushing the links into position if they moved. Once happy with the positioning I went over every connection with glue then left it overnight to dry. That left me with this:

I hope that all makes sense. :smiling3:

Cheers Moni, it's gone quite fast, despite all the clean up work.

I find the tracks do take, longer to get together, than the hull, and turret,;)
