this is something different for me this is citadels 28mm Eldar War Walker from Warhammer 40,000 , very easy kit with great detail and no problems in the build


I wasn't happy with the colour it was supposed to be or any of the others I looked at so I took inspiration from the TV series Falling Sky's and chose a steel colour , I used Humbrol Metal coat gun metal and polished steel but due to the bleaching effect of the metal colours it doesn't give a very good impression of the build in the photos , it does look more striking in natural light :smiling3:

Those last three photos give a very nice effect on the paintwork.


Also the effect you have achieved on the edges. Very effective.

I think it looks great, the last piccies, as Laurie has noted, do show the contrast in the metallics. Nice work.
