I've read some varying reviews of this kit from all over the net some good some really negative! I can only speak as I find however and it was a thoroughly enjoyable build. The kit is basic so I re-scribed all of the panel lines, I used the excellent references on the Harrier Sig to add a few more details and made my life a little bit easier by posing it in flight.

The painting is acrylic, post shaded then weathered with some oils, an enamel wash and then cleared with Tamiya Flat.

Hope you like it.

In flight is how a Harrier should be seen!

Top marks for this one Jason, I really like your weathering & the faded look to the paintwork - the elements eating away at it no doubt!

Thanks Chaps, I'm really pleased you like it. I actually bought a few of them because they were so cheap. I'm thinking of maybe doing the next one in winter exercise camo.

I really like this Jason, its a quality build no doubt about it. The re scribing is excellent (something ive never been able to do satisfactorily !) and the build and painting are spot on . Sounds daft but something that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside was seeing a long lost friend again - the classic A shaped clear Airfix display stand !! Took me back to my youth when the majority of my builds were done in flight on stands , at a time when most kits came with a stand , anyone remember the matchbox multi pose M shaped one , or the Airfix dogfight doubles big black A with two sticks!! Great build mate and thanks for the memories!! cheers Tony
