My dad has given me some figures to sell for him I would like to get him the best prices for them but not sure where to advertise or is eBay my best bet?

That depends on what the figures are really, I mean if they are boxed original Star Wars figures then Ebay is a good bet due to the global audience. Don't forget with Ebay you can set a minimum price. You do get specialist toy auctions from time to time at some auction houses, but they are usually only held a couple of times a year, alternatively you have the dedicated toy auction houses where possibly you would get to sell to serious collectors, if something is particularly sought after and two collectors want it then the price can often go above the estimate. One thing you can do is check out the 'sold' listings for the figures you want to sell and see what prices they have sold for recently, that will give you a good idea what their value is to other collectors.

I have no idea what to ask for them otherwise I would I know dad needs the money so don't want to under sell them.

I know that scale 75 figures sell between £40/50 for single figures and with horses about £60/70depending where you buy from

White metal figures are not cheep
