Stunning work Ralph.
But what gets me is the rider as a gas mask but he won't get far the horse hasn't
Thanks for the kind words Ian. :smiling3:

I know what you mean about the gas mask for the horse.

This model kit was based on a real picture.

Beautifully painted Ralph, really like it. There is something a little 'other worldly' to it though, if I saw this through the mist I would be in the next county five minutes later.......

This is another of your greats Ralph , I really do like the colours ( Ian beat me to the ref of the horse gas mask )

I remember reading somewhere that both sides did gas masks for horses as the casualties of horses mounted. It's amazing the breed wasn't exterminated from the planet during WW1.

I really do like your figures Ralph as you portray wonderful colours and shades for animals and people.

This is an art I will n ed to achieve with more practice.

Really well done

Regards

Robert

Thank you so much for the great comments Robert:smiling3:.

I really am happy that you like what I paint and it make's it all the more worthwhile posting my pics.

You say you need to practice, and the truth is it does take a lot of practice.Even I'm still practicing and trying different things and approach's.

All the best.

Ralph.

very nice indeed, and very well painted, like the subject too, this has an almost `apocalyptic` feel to it.
