I don't really do 'new fangled' - I've barely caught up with 'old fangled' - so didn't recognise it for what it was!

Some really nice builds there Joe - especially bearing in mind the age of some of the kits!

I agree with Dave (Gern) great looking builds and especially that some of the moulds were quiet primitive by todays standards very impressed .
I started my return to modelling kits about 25 years ago concentrating on the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm and mainly 1/72 not to much to choose from then , delved into the old kits world from long gone manufacturers like Frog and Matchbox and Magna and some odd vac form kits and conversions .004.JPG
these are some of the old frog kits I did way back then they did quiet a few FAA types

more from Frog and a Matchbox Wildcat bottom right
Happy days
Bobby

There are some truly amazing builds posted here, I've been modelling for 40+ years and still can't produce anything half as good as a lot of the ones posted.

Great work here. Where's the floaty guys?
It was especially nice to see David Amos is still active modeling his 'paper panzers' and other excellent efforts. Dave, did you ever finish the, what I called, the "Steppe Sweeper"? I think it was a 170mm clip loaded AT SP. PaulE
