Today I cut another one of those cases I’ve saved over the years this time it was a smaller one. This one will be for my German 75mm Infantry crew I built several years ago.
42045C7B-3BBD-4F55-BCFB-DB07C044AF73.jpegI used Wood Putty to add texture 5CE253D6-334A-45A4-94D7-ADA45DC86569.jpegMixing trying to get my right colorF0009768-C52A-4FE9-91C7-55AEC5ECB71A.jpegA2B825E5-AAFE-49F5-81CA-DB5D47090637.jpegDC2029A3-94B3-4EB1-9A24-14A3E374B790.jpegE17221F0-96AF-43BB-A843-923488BDD072.jpeg
Painted the base going let dry then I’m going to add some grass and a small Hedge row in front and sides. Notice the mud on bottom of the Flak Gunner’s boot. Thought I would try this I’m really out of my comfort zone these but it can’t be any different that what I do in my Layouts as far the landscape. Updates soon.

Can't see it being a problem Lee, love the base now, that mud on his heel is good .

Thanks JR for the complement and stopping by. I couldn’t find a name for him so would he be considered a Flak Gunner? Or something else because it’s a artillery piece.

Lovely stuff Lee. Almost jewel like and the simplicity of the composition suits the subject well, showing off the gun and crew. I did a version of this a few years ago and thought it was a lovely little kit.

Thanks for the complement Tim. Yes I think this build was one of my favorites in 1/72 scale and the kit gets most of the credits.

Thank you I really appreciate it. Guess this would be my second small Diorama. Still a little nervous about building these
Shouldn't be Lee, thats looking even better with the vegetation on.

That looks very nice indeed Lee.

Building some small scale dio's is fun even when they are intentionally basic. I've built a few over the years just using an old CD as a base.
