The history is on the build page, and it has been a heck of a journey building the venerable Eland 90 Mk7.
For those interested, the books shown below make for great reading and include amazing stories about the this amazing little vehicle and it's continued service.

Nice (and rarely seen) model Gavin. And thanks for the book selection. I'm always receptive to books about military vehicles and I hadn't seen these.

Started working on my "Klein Boet - Ou Boet" display.
For the uninitiated, that is "Baby Brother - Older Brother".

This play on words highlights the obvious size difference between the new generation armoured car and that of the older post WW2 designed armoured car.

Anyway, till the next update.

I always start these post with something like 'Armour, not something I'm too familiar with' BUT, I can still see a great build. These really look the part. Splendid result.
