1/32 HK-Models: Gloster Meteor F.4...."Fuerza Aérea Argentina"

Hi guys!!!

Another big project has come to an end. It's HK's Gloster Meteor F.4 in 1/32 scale.

And I have to say....the assembly was absolutey horrible!!!

The kit has a bad fit. Putty and sandpaper is required at all modules. I really think, that 74,-Euros is a high price for so much rework!!

But in the end I'm quiet satsified with the overall result. :D

Cheers

Stefan:smiling3:

It's a shame it was a pig to build. But it looks great. Nice job.

Wonderfully done Stefan. Very nicely photographed as usual too, it really adds to the atmosphere.

You would never know you have had issues with this build, it is sublime. Beautifully made and the board with the background just enhance this amazing build. Drop the pilot and it looks real. Top drawer modelling.

Great build Stefan, looks the real thing at first glance. Always liked the Vampire and Meteor since I was a kid, I remember them exercising over Dyce our local airport when it was home to the RAF in the 1950s. Always preferred the silver finish like yours. Cheers Derek

I didn't know there was a 1/32 Meteor kit. That is beautifully built, painted and photographed, Stefan. Looks very realistic with the low camera angle.

Well if that fought you all the way I'd say you won the battle by a big margin it's a fantastic build and one I'm after but I'll probably go smaller in scale :smiling3:

Thank you, friends. I am very glad that you like my Meteor. :smiling3:

If anyone wants to build this model too, I can only advise you to remove the dowel pins and build everything as a short run kit . This certainly saves much rework. ;)

Have a nice weekend

Stefan:smiling3:

Stefan, I think you're doing the same trick that Ron does! You're taking pics of the real thing and trying to get us to believe they're your builds!
