Looking quality mate, can't wait to see this one finished as it's an interesting subject.

My local has a eduard 1/48 weekend edition going pretty cheap, this might prompt me a buy!

Hope all is going well with your continuing hospital visits.

Regards

Phil

Anyway back to the 'cobra , its looking very tasty now , the saucy decal especially !! I very nearly got one of these for a tenner at the newark show last week , but if i see one of the special hobby ones in the soviet markings boxing at the right price then i might get that instead!

Thanks for the concerns regarding my health, will be glad to get this final op out the way.

I'm still plodding on with the decals, I pity the poor bloke who had to apply these stencils on the real Airacobra, out of the 100+ decals on the sheet I must have to apply round about 80 of them. A lot of these decals are so small they will be hardly visable on the olive drab paint scheme but I will persist. More to do today but will probably finish them off this afternoon:smiling3:. Then another coat of Klear and then onto the weathering.

I hit a wall with this one but there has been progress running in the background no photos I'm afraid. Will post the final photos in completed aircraft shortly.

Tried posting in completed Aircraft without sucess would only let you post one image!!!

Well this one has taken a while but at last it's finished. No real problems that couldn't be overcome. I don't think this up to my usual standard, too many breaks and gaps and low mojo, but you will be the judge of that. Anyway I hope you all like it all comments welcome. (Images all in the wrong order as usual)

Clearly you've not lost any of your skills Vaughn - despite the recent break. All the best for your upcoming surgery.

When I want to put my pictures in a particular order, I upload them all first. Where you have the choice to insert them as thumbnails or full pictures, I click on full picture one at a time. That saves me having to play around to find which bit of the menus to use.
