Just found your blog Dave, the kit looks very complex, lots of parts & one of those kits that can be easy to lose interest in. You are making a very good job of it, despite all that, keep it up!

Well a very pleasant surprise this morning I turned the last page of the instructions! I hadn't realised I was so close there's a few small bits to go on light lenses wing mirrors etc. but nothing too stressful, the sub assemblies are done and it'll be onto painting next weekend I may get some primer on during the week DIY allowing.

Finally got round to getting some paint down this morning (before DIY starts) quite pleased so far weathering next.
One thing I'm have an issue with is the top hatch the way they have the mechanism is totally wrong it should sit flat on the rear of the turret and it should have a leather pad underneath. There has been so much attention to detail it seems they never took any notice of how it operates, so I'm not sure if to put up with it or remove the effort of a mechanism and put the hatch where it should sit.
