Hi Modellers!!

Her comes my new Bf 109 E-4. It's a nightfighter, in service at 10. Sqadron of the III./NJG 1, 1941.

The ICM-Kit is o.k. but the decals were horrible and you have to correct something. So I added the "PeilG IV" under the fuselage. The PeilG IV was a direction finder for locating enemy aircraft and was also used for ground and air ducting of own associations. Telefunken described the device as a target air conditioning Stat. 1009 bF.

The "Emil" is completely painted in black (Gunze). For more details I used colors from Revell and Model Master.

The Weathering was realized with a washing of diluted oil paint and the use of various pastels.

Finally, everything was sealed with a matt varnish. The antenna wire is made from pulled sprue.

Horrido.....

That's really nice! For such a small kit, the paintwork & detail make it look bigger!

Cheers

Good job and an unusual subject. It looks very convincing in such a small scale.

Cheers

I like that a lot Stefan, never easy to reproduce an all-black scheme but you've done it convincingly.
