One of my suggestions was for The Red Arrows with the intention of all nine being done by contributors.
I would do a Red Arrow in 1/24, but they don't do one. Start a SIG for Red Arrows in any scale where everyone does a specific number for the 50th Anniversary and I'm in immediately!

That's exactly what I suggested Mike but there weren't enough takers. Sob!

I'm new to the forum but I believe there's rules to starting a SIG that isn't Calendar defined, PM me the link and I'm in! Will build three just to make up the numbers!!

Yes there are indeed rules to the SIG's

Ask me how I know.

How ever if anyone wishes to do an unofficial GB it would not be the first time.

I gather no one else - apart from me - is looking at a P47 Thunderbolt?

I've had one sitting on my shelf for nearly 3 years now, so I expect I'll be tempted when the time comes - 'specially since I already bought some bitsand bobs to go with it!

Airfix Spit here, but looking for the GR3 at a good price.
Well I'll put you down for the Spit, as I wrote to Alan, this list is only a draft, so we can get an idea over what is in our thoughts

So I've just checked my box of the Spitfire Mk Vb cheapo Gift Set that a lot of people have picked up for bargain basement prices. It's HUGE!! Like oh my god where the hell am I going to put that, huge!!

It's also clearly an old kit, nice panel detail that one can work with, but there is a fair bit of flash and the mould doesn't have that quality Airfix New Tool look to it.

I still plan on popping into Hobbycraft to see if they'll do a Hurricane for bargain prices as was picked up in Basingstoke. So at the moment, I'm Spit Vb.

But watch this space!
