Well, its finished and I'm glad I carried on with it, the fit issues I had in the beginning were almost too much and it was nearly in the bin on more than one occasions.


I used Tamiya paints for the main colours, with Mr Hobby Metal colors. I used Vallejo gloss varnish for the first and last time and Tamiya Flat clear for the dull coat. Flory's washes were used and highlighted with pastels.


I must say a big thank you to those that sent out decals to help me complete it.


I'm working on a base right now and will post a picture once this is complete.

Great job Adrian ,looks excellent in the classic SEAC scheme . Is the Tamiya flat clear an aerosol? i might have to get some , i sometimes struggle to get a really matt finish , cheers tony

Yup it's a can, I've only had 2 issues in 5 years using it, though make sure your windows are well open, the pear drop smell is over powering :smiling3:

Your bird looks superb love the camo work and like the remove before take off tabs adds a extra amount of detail...and you nailed the cockpit

Haha, no, they are the Eduard Fabric Remove Before Flight tags, they look mucn better than the PE ones and any slight breeze and they move :smiling3:
