airbrushing faded cam

what mix ratio should i use to do the faded cam on luftwaffa aircraft ie 109s etc the faded squggele as i usualy do a 50/50 but never done this cam before ,also do i turn pressure down lower that usual

I would thin the paint more and, as you say, with lowered air pressure. But it does depend on the paint you use, needle size etc. he best bet is to try it out on scrap until you get the right combination.

its tamiya paint not sure on needle as new to airbrushing so is supplied needle many thanks

You'll likely have a 0.3 needle/nozzle that tends to be average supplied size and ideal for this kind of work, somewhere between 10 and 12 psi with paint thinned a little more than you would for a top coat, not to much thinner or you'll just separate the pigment. Practice on some scrap or similar first.
