My build of the Airfix 1/72 North American P-51B Mustang (02083) which was made for an ATF Bomber Command GB. It represents an RAF Mustang III HB837 flown by Wing Commander Leonard Cheshire on 617 Squadron operations.

Decals came from the spares box and the XtraDecal 617 Squadron set (X72093). The "Malcolm Hood" transparencies are from Falcon and are a bit oversize (they were supposed to be for a Hasegawa kit) but the result is still okay.

Nice finish on the paint!
A pity about the canopy. I have often had train of though problems as to how a subject of any scale can have so many differences across brands. Clearly a sign that some people can use a tape measure better than others. LOL In an ideal world a canopy from one make should fit a kit from another, but alas we are the victim of inaccuracy way to many times..
