That looks pretty good Peter. The one I built in my youth looked nothing like that lol.

I did forget to say there are a few missing bits but as they are under the body they won't show.

Oh, I had a chance to get this kit and dillied and dallied over it, looks a nice kit for an oldie, and the work you have done so far looks great Peter, will be watching how this takes shape.

Nice coachwork Peter, one question: Are the wheels all in one or does it come with separate tyres?

Thanks Peter, I thought something looked different about them, hence the question. Looking great, the red is vivid and so glossy.

Looks like this one is giving you less trouble than that Train engine car...

Its not quiet there as it still has the decels and final assembly to go.

Another classic old Airfix kit geting the treatment. Great job Peter and yet again goes to show you can get a lot of enjoyment from old kits without spending a great deal. This is coming along very nicely and a great build to follow. I did this and the old Bill Bus in my youth and they both built up into very smart and eye catching models.

By the way don't be too keen to 'switch'over from Humbrol to Tamiya. I'm a great believer in the idea that they both have thier advantages so I tend to use both in most of my modelling applications. I would certainly never discard Humbrol when I was after a perfect gloss brushed finish on say a motorcycle tank or if I was after a bit of texture from a matt finish. Keep your mind open to the advantages of both systems, as well as adding oils and even occassionally water colours!
