I wouldn't worry about the tree-huggers if you can turn out models like this Tony! It's a lovely finish, really shows off the detail. I know it's quite an old plane but it looks very futuristic and great in that yellow & as for loud, try 5 F-104 Starfighters coming in low & level then simultaneously climbing vertically as they go into reheat-ear bleedingly loud but what a sight! sounds great ,patrick ,a bit like the vulcan scramble they used to do at the finningley airshow -deafening but what a sight(and sensation, the ground used to shake!!) 3 vulcans taking off straight after each other, or the lightning climb -take off then full afterburner straight up , brilliant .I never saw a starfighter though ,shame ,i bet they were great to see ,very powerful. cheers tony

I'd have loved to see a Vulcan-best I managed was the flyover they did, I think for the Queen's silver jubilee, with a pair of Javelins flying escort. But I only pay that from miles away but as it was 32 years ago, clearly it's stuck in my mind! Having read more about the Starfighter, I now respect the pilots even more-it's nickname of 'The Widowmaker' is well earned! Patrick
