Richi, I've just re- read your excellent build thread....

Excellent stuff. Pity about the mortar joints, but as the saying goes 'He who has never made a mistake, never made anything'!

So, onwards and upward my friend.

Update 24.02.14

Hello all,

Well after almost 2 weeks of trouble with my internet connection i am glad that it is working properly again.

I got my new wall done, and put in some windows and the door windows for a test fit.

I tried something different this time because I didn’t want to destroy it all with the plaster again.

Here are pictures of the old wall and chimney. You can see that on some places the plaster has filled up the gabs between the stones, that looks really bad.

And this is the new wall with new paint and I made the gutter think that’s what it is called.

I used the Revell kit with Atak Zimmerit and Aber PE parts.

Here are some progress pictures.

Hi Polux,

thanks for your kind words.

I think you live in Spain, so I looked at the homepage for Depron and they have a seller in Spain.

Here is the contact data for Spain I got from the German Depron site:

MATERIS PAINTS ESPAÑA, S.L.

Joe Vial

ALP PINTURAS

C/ Francia, 7. Pol. Ind. Pla de LLerona.

08520Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona)

SPAIN

+34 93 8494010

There is an alternative to Depron and that’s foam board if you remove the paper of it you have a foam to, and a expensive alternative one is balsa foam.

and here is a link to a shop in USA that ships international LINK

Hope this helps a bit.

Cheers Richi

Ps. Or you can try Amazon, landed a bargain with them last year.

This is what Amazon.es said after searching for Depron LINK

your welcome Polux.

Update 25.02.2014 small one;)

well I did some small stuff today some jerry cans from Academy and Tamiya for the stug and put on some bolts and I made a wire ring. on the jerry cans I put a 0,3mm copper wire thru the middle to represent the welding were the two parts joint together, I know there are PE parts for this but this works to.

here are the pictures,

I like the looks of the copper wire because it looks (at least I think:rolleyes:smiling3: more realistic than those PE parts. why? well I think its simulates the dents that would appear on the welding after a couple of encounters with other jerry cans pretty good I think

here I used 0,4mm dark wire and 0,3mm copper wire wrapped around a 16mm tube.

so that's it for today folks.
