This is the Hasegawa Swiss Bf-109E-3, that was gotten for me on my 16th birthday by my girlfriend at the time, Morgan. I finally built it a month or so ago, and it took me quite a while. The decals were badly yellowed, so I thought it would be best to paint the markings on, and I am quite proud of the results. Let me know what you think.

Nice work, the painted markings look great. Nice touch adding your girlfriend of the time's name on the nose. Good idea, think I can justify a few more kits by putting my missus' name on the nose of a few?

Looks very good.

The Swiss adopted that scheme to stop allied aircraft attacking them. Unfortunately they look vaguely like invasion stripes (from a distance at 300 mph) so the Luftwaffe attacked them instead!

Cheers
