A nice kit, a few issues but they are not too bad. A surprise were the decal quality, supplied by Eagle Productions they are far better than anything produced by any other Trumpy kit I have found. That said most markings are painted with 1 Man Army Masks.

Despite the setbacks, that’s turned out very nicely :smiling3: The photo with your hand shows well how big it actually is.

That's a beautiful bird. Lovely finish on the bare metal.

Fantastic work Barry. And as Jakko says, it's not small is it!

Thanks everyone for the comments

Yes,
It is not small at all, however it is small compared to my next build…

The HobbyBoss 1/32 B24D Liberator ! It’s not just the 42 inch wingspan, the slab-sides fuselage looks enormous. I think perhaps that it is the largest injection moulded aircraft model produced. It’s bigger than the Lancaster and B17 by a decent margin.

I will set up a build thread for it in due course so you can see what I mean.

Well, they always did say the B24 was the box the B17 came In Barry ;) Good luck with it though. Both handling it and getting it in the spray booth will be a bit of a challenge.

Now that is rather large!

Firstly I have a rather large spray booth Tim! I am reliably informed that the wings fit well to the fuselage without needing to deal with seams, so I am optimistic that I will be able to build them up, paint and weather the wings and fuselage separately which will make handling the project a lot easier.
